We're looking for an ambitious Resourcer to join our Industrial Automation team, supporting Principal Consultant Joe Michie as he recruits senior commercial and technical professionals across the global automation market.

About the Team

You'll be working alongside a Principal Consultant who specialises in the Industrial Automation sector, recruiting across:

  • Robotics
  • Machine Vision & Computer Vision
  • Industrial Sensors
  • Motion Control
  • Motors & Drives
  • Industrial Connectivity & IIoT
  • Automation Components
  • Systems Integrators
  • Distribution & Channel Partners

Assignments range from specialist technical hires through to executive appointments, with recent placements including:

  • Chief Sales & Marketing Officer – Germany
  • Chief Operating Officer – Chicago, USA
  • General Manager – Boston, USA
  • Business Development Director – Michigan, USA
  • Senior Sales Manager – Germany
  • Computer Vision Engineer – Switzerland
  • 3D Vision Application Engineer – South Korea
  • Robotics Software Engineer – Canada

The Role

As a Resourcer, you'll play a vital role in identifying and engaging exceptional candidates from around the world.

Working closely with the Principal Consultant, you'll help deliver high-quality shortlists for retained and contingent recruitment projects while developing an excellent understanding of one of the fastest-growing technology sectors globally.


Responsibilities:

  • Source high-quality candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and internal databases.
  • Conduct market mapping across global Industrial Automation markets.
  • Identify passive candidates and build talent pipelines.
  • Qualify candidates through telephone and video interviews.
  • Produce candidate reports and CV summaries.
  • Manage candidate relationships throughout recruitment processes.
  • Coordinate interviews and candidate communications.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Support business development through market intelligence and competitor research.
  • Develop expertise within Industrial Automation and emerging technologies.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Naturally curious and enjoys researching markets.
  • Confident speaking with professionals over the phone.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercially minded with strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with international candidates across multiple time zones.
  • Motivated by building long-term relationships.
  • Eager to learn and develop into a Recruitment Consultant.

Previous recruitment experience is welcomed but not essential. Experience in sales, customer service, research, business development or a technical environment would also be highly valued.
