Resourcing Advisor Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C
Help Shape the UK’s Energy Future
As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), you will support the building of Sizewell C, a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes. This role plays a key role in securing our energy future, providing reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.
Based within the Main Civil Works Section, your contributions will directly shape the project’s workforce strategy.
About the Role
As a Recruitment Advisor, you will focus on directly sourcing construction and supporting function talent for the CWA, primarily specialising in white-collar employees. You will strategically contribute to building a solutions-focused team that aligns with the broader project objectives.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
- Collaborate with Senior Recruiters to design and implement targeted talent acquisition strategies.
- Proactively identify and attract high-calibre candidates to meet the CWA’s dynamic recruitment demands.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive talent pipelines, ensuring alignment with both current and future hiring needs.
- Continuously identify process optimisations to enhance the efficiency of the recruitment function.

Recruitment Administration
- Advertise Civil Works Alliance roles across platforms to ensure high visibility, engagement, and quality candidate applications.
- Ensure that offer documents (e.g., offer letters, contracts, paperwork) are accurate and complete before issuing.
- Work closely with parent companies to oversee the offer approval process, maintaining seamless communication and timely processing.
- Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure a smooth, efficient, and candidate-centric experience.
Employer Branding & Diversity
- Promote and reinforce the CWA’s values throughout the recruitment process, ensuring consistency with company culture.
- Contribute to upscaling of recruitment systems, playing a role in ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
- Strengthen the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to attract the most talented candidates and drive employer differentiation.
- Advocate for diversity and inclusion, ensuring a diverse pool of talent is represented through all recruitment stages.
Requirements
This role is well-suited for:
- Technical recruiters looking to transition into an in-house environment.
- Candidates with previous Remote/Outsourced/Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) experience, or qualifying in-house candidates.
