The opportunity
Are you looking to build your career in recruitment, HR or people administration? Do you enjoy working in a busy, collaborative environment where great organisation and excellent customer service make a real difference?
Join our friendly and supportive Resourcing team as a Resourcing Assistant, where you'll play an important role in delivering a positive recruitment and onboarding experience for candidates, hiring managers and colleagues across the University.
As part of the team, you'll support a wide range of recruitment and resourcing activities, from preparing interview packs and arranging interviews to responding to queries, maintaining accurate records and helping new colleagues through their onboarding journey. You may also support our hourly paid workforce by assisting with re engagement, claims and contracting processes.
No two days are the same. You'll work with colleagues across the People team, hiring managers and candidates, using a range of HR and recruitment systems to keep processes running smoothly while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and excellent customer service throughout.

You'll have experience in recruitment, HR, payroll or another people related administrative environment, with confidence using systems to process information, maintain accurate records and manage confidential data. You can balance competing priorities, work to deadlines and remain calm in a busy environment.
You'll be a confident communicator, comfortable responding to a wide range of enquiries by email, over the phone and in person, while building positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the University.
Most importantly, you'll enjoy working collaboratively, be keen to learn and contribute to a team that's committed to delivering an outstanding resourcing service.
