As part of the Redeployment Team, you will play a vital role in helping colleagues navigate their next career opportunity, whether that's within the Society or beyond.

You'll provide practical guidance, coaching and support to help colleagues identify and secure roles that match their skills, experience and aspirations. Through both one-to-one and group sessions, delivered virtually and in person, you'll promote the Redeployment Service, helping colleagues understand and access the resources available to them.

A key part of the role will be monitoring and managing the redeployment process, ensuring colleagues who could benefit from the service receive the right support at the right time. You'll work closely with hiring managers to ensure redeployment candidates are considered appropriately and in line with policies.

Your recruitment experience will be invaluable in helping colleagues present themselves effectively. You'll review CVs and applications, provide interview and career coaching, advise on trial periods, and ensure candidates receive timely, constructive and high-quality feedback throughout their journey.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, creative and committed to continuous improvement. You'll be keen to identify opportunities to enhance the service, streamline processes and improve the experience for colleagues and hiring managers alike. You'll also be confident working with data, using Excel to manage information, produce meaningful insights and demonstrate the value and impact of the Redeployment Service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
