About The Role
If you’re a hands-on technician with experience of inspecting and repairing physical equipment, then we may just have the role for you! Forming part of a new team at Arco Professional Safety Services, you’ll utilise your experience and training provided to deliver expert inspection, maintenance and repair of our respiratory equipment for our customer at their site in the Plymouth area.
The Respiratory Equipment Inspector role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours a week, with the working hours being flexible between 07:00 start time and 18:00 finish time.
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out COSHH monthly inspections, manufacturers annual servicing and repairs to respiratory equipment including Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR / SCBA), Full Face Mask Respirators and Half Mask Respirators
- Completing and maintaining COSHH record keeping and Arco’s Asset tracking system
- Managing the stock of spare parts and equipment within the workshop to carry out monthly testing
- Additionally supporting the wider team within the Plymouth area
The ideal Respiratory Equipment Inspector will be/have:
- Practical experience with equipment – specific training will be provided by us for respiratory equipment
- Manual handling experience
- Face to Face customer experience with excellent telephone manner
- Strong IT and data entry skills, particularly Asset Tracking Systems
- UK Driving license
- Eligible to receive UK Security Clearance
