Job Title: Respiratory Nurse

Location: Boston

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Respiratory Nurse to join our established primary care team and be part of an organisation that truly makes a difference to patients’ lives.

You will be based within our GP surgery and will play a key role in the management of patients with respiratory long-term conditions, particularly asthma and COPD. While the role is predominantly focused on respiratory reviews, the ideal candidate will also be confident in undertaking a range of treatment room duties, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with strong respiratory expertise who values continuity of care, clinical autonomy, and working within a supportive, forward-thinking primary care environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing and treating patients with respiratory long-term conditions, with a particular focus on asthma and COPD.
  • Undertaking comprehensive asthma and COPD reviews, including care planning, inhaler technique education, and self-management support.
  • Supporting the management of patients with co-morbidities, including hypertension and other chronic diseases where appropriate.
  • Implementing and participating in vaccination and immunisation programmes for adults and children, including:
    • Influenza, Covid-19, RSV, shingles, and pneumococcal vaccinations
    • Childhood immunisations and travel vaccinations
  • Undertaking treatment room duties, including wound care, dressings, injections, and suture removal.
  • Providing home visits for housebound patients requiring respiratory long-term condition support.
  • Raising safeguarding concerns in line with local and national guidance.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment in line with infection prevention and control standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
