As organisations accelerate their adoption of Artificial Intelligence, the need for effective governance, transparency, and ethical oversight has never been greater.
My client is looking for a Responsible AI Specialist to help their clients and delivery teams build AI solutions that are trusted, compliant, and fair by design. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of technology, regulation, and business transformation, influencing how AI is implemented across some of the UK's leading organisations.
What you'll be doing
You'll play a key role in establishing and embedding Responsible AI practices across their consultancy, including:

- Developing Responsible AI frameworks, policies, and governance standards
- Advising delivery teams on ethical AI design, risk assessment, and mitigation
- Conducting AI risk and impact assessments across client engagements
- Supporting clients with AI governance, regulatory readiness, and compliance requirements
- Translating evolving regulations, including the EU AI Act, into practical guidance
- Working alongside architects, data scientists, and business leaders to operationalise AI governance
- Driving internal awareness, education, and best practice around Responsible AI
What we're looking for
We're interested in speaking to professionals who have:
- 3+ years' experience in AI governance, AI ethics, risk, compliance, policy, or a related field
- A strong understanding of AI concepts, risks, and failure modes
- Knowledge of AI regulations and standards, including the EU AI Act
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to turn governance principles into practical, business-friendly frameworks

Nice to have
- Consulting or advisory experience
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 42001 or NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Experience in data privacy, data protection, or model risk management
- Exposure to fairness, bias, explainability, or AI assurance tooling
