We are currently looking for a Responsive Repairs Administrator to support our busy repairs team. You will play a key role in providing a high quality, frontline service to tenants and colleagues.
Role Overview
As a Responsive Repairs Administrator, you will be the main point of contact for anyone wishing to raise a repair or report an issue related to their home.
You will be part of a team delivering an excellent customer service in relation to the housing repairs service. This includes technical support, dealing with repair enquiries and/or requests, work scheduling and making appointments and being the initial first point of contact for complaints.

You will also work with the wider Assets team within the Council to ensure excellence in service to customers, both internal and external.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support delivery to the core housing repairs service
- Provide full administrative duties to teams within the property services team, including voids, planned maintenance and reactive repairs
- Update property records and the housing management system to ensure that accurate records and information are maintained
- Ensure that full administrative duties are provided to teams within the property services team
Requirements
- Recent experience of dealing directly with customers, particularly via the telephone
- Experience in the use of computer systems, including Word and Excel spreadsheets
- Recent experience in undertaking clerical/administrative duties
- Ability to follow prescribed procedures
- Good planning and personal organizational skills
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritize own workload
- Flexible in approach and adopt a positive attitude to changing situations
- Able to demonstrate resilience and sensitivity in dealing with customers who could be emotional
