**# Full Stack Developer (Rebuild Engineer) – DevOps Services Role Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in-office) Contract End Date: November 30, 2026

As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) while collaborating in Agile teams. About the Role
This Full Stack Engineer / Rebuild Engineer position spans design, development, testing, deployment, and production support for modern applications. Your work will drive iterative software solutions, manage technical debt, and ensure systems remain scalable and maintainable.
- Work in a hybrid (3 days/wk office) environment
- Part of a DevOps Services team aligned with industry-leading processes
- End-to-end accountability for software delivery in an Agile workflow
Your Responsibilities
Core activities include:

End-to-end software lifecycle participation:
- Contribute to all phases from requirements analysis to production support.

Collaborative Agile software delivery:
- Break business needs into detailed user stories and implement solutions iteratively.
- Work with teams following Agile methodologies to meet incremental deadlines.

Full-stack development:
- Design and build modern applications using preferred programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Kotlin, Java, or JavaScript).
- Focus on clean code, reusability, and alignment with architectural standards.

Production support & problem-solving:
- Troubleshoot performance issues, bugs, and system breakdowns in live environments.
- Implement sustainable optimisations while minimising downtime.

Technical backbone management:
- Audit and prioritise the technical debt—balancing refactoring with feature enhancements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives like monitoring, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Database architecture & API integrations:
- Work with relational and non-relational databases to build robust data models.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs for seamless application functionality.

Knowledge-sharing:
- Pair program with peers to exchange best practices and enhance code quality.

Global collaboration:
- Work effectively with geographically distributed teams, communicating clearly in English.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years’ expertise in full-stack development, preferably in Kotlin, Java or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with OOP, algorithms, and data structures.
- Practical knowledge of production support, including debugging, logging, and system reliability.
- Comfortable with Unix/Linux environments, command-line tools, and scripting.
- Strong grasp of SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including optimisation and schema design.
- Familiarity with REST principles and HTTP best practices.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is considered a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience with vision/test frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Postman).
