The Foxhunter Park is a five-star holiday park located in the village of Monkton, near Ramsgate on the scenic Kent coast. Role Description
The Restaurant and Bar Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at The Foxhunter Park in Canterbury. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar and restaurant, including managing staff, coordinating shifts, and ensuring high standards of food, beverage, and service quality. The manager will:
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
Additionally, the role includes:
- Training and coaching team members
- Implementing service standards
- Collaborating with park management to support events and entertainment activities
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
- Proficiency in Food & Beverage operations, including menu knowledge, stock control, and quality standards.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
- Experience in Training staff, developing service standards, and supporting team performance.
- Ability to use Sales techniques to promote menu items, events, and special offers.
- Previous experience in restaurant, bar, or hospitality management.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and IT skills for scheduling, reporting, and POS systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
