Restaurant and Bar Manager

Rate of Pay / Hours Up to £41,000 inclusive of TRONC / 45 hours

Type of Contract Permanent position

Location Hotel Du Vin Avon Gorge


About the Role

As a full-time Bar and Bistro Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Bar, Bistro, and Meetings departments. This includes:

  • Ensuring smooth, high-standard service delivery
  • Coaching and supporting your team
  • Meeting budgeted targets and KPIs
  • Running a branded restaurant operation

We’re searching for experienced professionals who are ready to step into a hotel career—either transitioning from a restaurant/bar management role or aiming for high responsibility. With 365 days of operation (open 7 days a week), the role involves shift flexibility, primarily during evenings and weekends, though arrangements can be discussed.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations in Bar, Bistro, and Meetings rooms

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant or bar management
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on high standards and team development
  • Familiarity with branded restaurant operations and ability to scale into a hotel environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and shifted patterns is essential
