Be a Restaurant, Bar & Terrace Host — but most importantly, be you!
At The Bird, Bath, we do hospitality with colour, character and a little bit of mischief. We’re looking for warm, confident and energetic people to join our Restaurant, Bar and Terrace team — helping us give guests a bloody good time, whether they’re joining us for breakfast, cocktails, dinner, a private event or sunshine on the terrace.
Set in the beautiful city centre of Bath, The Bird is a modern, vibrant and vivacious boutique hotel with plenty of personality. With our re-launched terrace grill and pizza oven offering alfresco dining and stunning Plate restaurant, we’re building our reputation as one of Bath’s go-to spots for relaxed, memorable food and drink experiences.

What you’ll be doing
As a Restaurant, Bar & Terrace Host, you’ll be part of the team bringing The Bird’s food and drink spaces to life. No two shifts are quite the same, and that’s part of the fun.
You’ll be:
- Welcoming guests with warmth, confidence and personality
- Supporting service across our restaurant, terrace, bar, private events and dining domes
- Taking orders, serving food and drinks, and helping create a relaxed but memorable guest experience
- Working closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to keep service smooth and full of energy
- Helping set up, clear down and keep our spaces looking sharp
- Bringing ideas, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to the team
- Making sure guests feel looked after from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave
