Restaurant Barista – Le Perroquet at The St. Regis London

Coming soon to the heart of Mayfair, The St. Regis London marks the brand’s prestigious debut in the United Kingdom. This is a destination where history and modernity meet—ideal for those celebrating London’s pioneering and glamorous lifestyle for the world’s Luminaries.

Le Perroquet is an all-day French brasserie from Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Rose, offering classic dishes crafted with seasonality, technique, and a sense of occasion.

As Restaurant Barista, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable guest experiences through exceptional coffee service and beverage preparation. You’ll work within a luxury restaurant environment, delivering expertly crafted coffees, teas, and hot beverages while supporting the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless service.

This role is perfect for a passionate, service-driven professional proud of delivering quality, consistency, and genuine guest engagement within a luxury setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a range of specialty coffees, teas, and hot beverages to the highest standards
  • Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and service delivery
  • Engage with guests confidently, providing recommendations and personalised service
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of coffee stations and service areas
  • Operate, clean, and maintain coffee equipment for optimal performance
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment of coffee, milk, syrups, and related supplies
  • Support the restaurant team with beverage preparation during busy periods
  • Assist the bar team with basic beverage preparation and operational support as needed
  • Process guest orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of menus, beverages, and restaurant offerings
  • Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and food safety procedures
  • Uphold luxury service standards and contribute to an exceptional guest experience

Core Competencies

We’re looking for a polished and enthusiastic professional with a passion for coffee, hospitality, and guest service. Candidates should have:

  • Previous experience as a Barista, ideally within a luxury hotel, restaurant, or premium café environment
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, equipment, and specialty beverages
  • Exceptional attention to detail, committed to quality and presentation standards
  • Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standards environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, engaging approach
  • A proactive mindset and genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Basic knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, would be advantageous
  • Impeccable personal presentation aligned with luxury brand standards
  • A collaborative approach, working seamlessly with both restaurant and bar teams
