Quod – Exceptional Bartender Wanted
Quod is an independent, city-center restaurant, bar & terrace with over 250 seats, located on Oxford’s iconic High Street. Open all day, every day, the venue serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, specialising in European classics with a focus on British produce. The high-energy environment thrives on repeat customers and operates seven days a week, year-round.
As part of The Oxford Collection, Quod is associated with a privately owned group of businesses, including:
- Two luxury 5-star hotels (Old Bank Hotel & Old Parsonage Hotel)
- Three restaurants (Parsonage Grill, Gees Restaurant & Bar) and 80 bedrooms across three central Oxford properties, featuring stunning city views.

The ideal team member:
- Thrives under pressure, delivering exceptional experiences
- Is passionate about food, spirits, wine, and cocktails
- Ideally has Barista skills (training provided auxiliary)
- Is knowledgeable about cocktails, with a proven track record in high-volume hospitality
- Has experience in a comparable busy restaurant or bar setting
Core Responsibilities
- Crafting high-quality cocktails with precision
- Providing exceptional guest service throughout shifts
- Collaborating with a small but unified team
- Handling llegations efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Maintaining robust inventory and order bookings
Practical Details
- Working hours:
- 35-hour weekly rota (Mon–Sun, two consecutive days off)
- OTE up to £16.96/hour, including non-contractual tronc
- Part-time roles considered subject to availability
- Employment status: Not specified (likely temporary/permanent based on tenure)
