Restaurant General Manager at Chet’s, The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush

Company Description

The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush, is our fourth London location and sits in the vibrant heart of an eclectic neighbourhood. With 237 journalist-inspired bedrooms, an all-day restaurant (Chet’s), and one of London’s largest, most original lobbies—complete with vintage seating, cosy nooks, and a wraparound bar and terrace—this is the perfect place to explore West London.

Chet’s: A Thai-Americana Experience Discover fragrant Thai flavours fused with smoky regional textures, combined with the comforting charm of a classic American diner—all in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush.


Job Description

What You’ll Do…

  • Lead front-of-house operations across Chet’s, Room Service, The Lobby, and The Apartment (events space).
  • Drive guest and team experience, setting an inclusive tone and ensuring high standards—both as a leader and an active team member.
  • Build a motivated, empowered front-of-house team with confidence in delivering exceptional Hoxton experiences.
  • Drive revenue growth through tailored initiatives, incentives, and a deep understanding of guest booking and analytics systems.
  • Oversee financial performance with a firm grasp on P&L, cost efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Foster seamless collaboration between front-of-house and back-of-house teams, working closely with the Head Chef.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For…

  • Proven track record leading large restaurant/bar teams with a natural ability to inspire trust, cohesion, and growth.
  • 2+ years as a restaurant manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial management, and reporting for hospitality businesses.
  • Sharp attention to detail in a multi-tasking, dynamic setting.
  • Hospitality-first mindset—your passion is elevating guest and colleague experiences.
  • Unpretentious attitude; you’re about results over rigid formality.
  • Open to innovation, experimentation, and challenging the status quo.
  • Thrives in a supportive, hardworking, and fun team environment.
