RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER - JOIN LINA STORES MANCHESTER

Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for people, exceptional food, and growing a successful business? Lina Stores is looking for a Restaurant General Manager to lead our Manchester restaurant and oversee the wider operation, including our Delicatessen and Bar Lina.

About The Role

As Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for the success of our Manchester restaurant while providing leadership and oversight across the Delicatessen and Bar Lina. You will work closely with the management teams to ensure the whole site operates as one business, delivering exceptional service and strong commercial results.

You will lead by example, creating a positive culture where teams feel supported, motivated, and empowered to deliver the Lina Stores experience.

This role requires a strong hospitality leader who can balance operational excellence with commercial thinking, driving sales, developing people, and identifying opportunities to grow the business within the Manchester community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Provide support and operational oversight to the Delicatessen and Bar Lina teams.
  • Drive sales growth and achieve financial targets through strong commercial management.
  • Develop, coach, and retain talented teams.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, service, and operational excellence.
  • Manage labour, costs, and KPIs to improve business performance.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, local businesses, and the Manchester community.
  • Work closely with Head Office to continuously improve standards and grow the business.

Who We Are Looking For

  • An experienced General Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager within a premium hospitality environment.
  • A passionate leader with strong people management skills.
  • Commercially minded, with experience driving sales and profitability.
  • A confident decision-maker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Someone who genuinely cares about their team, guests, and the success of the business.
  • Passionate about hospitality, Italian food, and creating memorable experiences.

Experience managing restaurants with multiple areas of operation, including bars or retail/delicatessen concepts, would be an advantage.
