Restaurant Manager
We are accepting applications to fill the position of Restaurant Manager to join our food and beverage leadership team in providing an outstanding guest experience at the Wentworth by the Sea.
Wentworth by the Sea blends classic style with 21st-century convenience. Our elegant rooms, suites, and villas (most with water views) showcase luxury perks including spa services, indoor and outdoor pools, and intimate dining – all providing a memorable backdrop for conferences, weddings, family vacations, and romantic getaways.
The Restaurant Manager is a member of the food and beverage leadership team and participates in the day-to-day operations of our year-round Salt Kitchen and Bar and our seasonal Latitudes Waterfront Restaurant.
Daily activities of the Restaurant Manager include tasks such as:
- Organizing and leading the team
- Maintaining a visible presence in the restaurant
- Checking in regularly with guests
- Responding to guest requests and issues in a timely manner
- Maintaining processes to control cost and build revenue
- Training and coaching the team

Qualifications to be successful as a Restaurant Manager include:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a food and beverage department
- The ability to establish a good working relationship with associates and fellow managers while acting in a supervisory role
- The ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience with point-of-sale systems
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- The ability to walk/stand for up to 5 hours at a time
- The ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs
As a representative of the hotel, the right candidate for Restaurant Manager must have a passion for promoting an enjoyable experience to exceed our guests’ expectations and must be dynamic, friendly, helpful, team-oriented, professional at all times, and must be able to multi-task and handle busy situations with grace.
