At Champneys, dining is an essential part of the wellness experience. As Restaurant Manager, you’ll lead our food and beverage service with confidence, warmth, and precision – ensuring every guest enjoys exceptional hospitality, every service runs seamlessly, and every team member feels supported to perform at their best.

This is a hands-on management role where high standards, great food, and genuine care for people come together.

Our teams are passionate, professional, and proud of the service they deliver, and our Restaurant Managers play a vital role in that experience.

The Role

As Restaurant Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our restaurant and bar / café areas, ensuring outstanding service, strong financial performance, and a consistently high guest experience.

You’ll lead and develop your team on the floor, work closely with senior leaders and chefs, and ensure service delivery aligns with Champneys’ wellbeing ethos, dietary standards, and luxury brand expectations.

  • Managing, motivating, and developing your team through effective leadership
  • Ensuring every service runs smoothly, professionally, and on brand
  • Building positive relationships with guests and resolving feedback confidently
  • Overseeing rotas, staffing levels, and payroll spend within budget
  • Managing stock, suppliers, and equipment to agreed standards
  • Driving strong financial performance and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company policies
  • Acting as Duty Manager on a rota basis and supporting wider resort operations
  • Working collaboratively with Chefs, Front of House, and senior leaders

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
