Restaurant Manager

Location: SUMI, Notting Hill, London

About Us

SUMI is a much-loved sushi and Japanese restaurant in the heart of Notting Hill, London. The little sister to Endo at the Rotunda, led by sushi master Endo Kazutoshi, SUMI brings Japanese culinary excellence into a warm, elegant, and welcoming neighbourhood setting.

Named after Endo’s mother, SUMI is a place of refinement, hospitality, and heartfelt service — where locals and visitors come together to enjoy exceptional food and genuine connection.

The Role

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who leads with presence, care, and clarity. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is passionate about people, service, and creating an environment where both guests and team members thrive.

You will take ownership of the daily operation, ensuring that every detail reflects our standards, while building a strong, motivated, and engaged team. Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a key role in driving performance, culture, and consistency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
