Find out more about us at www.benugo.com Job Description We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the team at our operation located within Savill Garden, Great Windsor Park. Situated within The Savill Garden Visitor Centre, Savill Kitchen includes a large and energetic restaurant and 3 cafes. We serve a seasonal menu with British classics from locally sourced ingredients in the restaurant, as well as a range of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and carbon neutral coffee in the cafes. The venue is open 7 days per week, daytime only for the majority of the year. Therefore, working every Saturday and Sunday is necessary. The successful candidate will have high volume restaurant experience in a management role. This is a hands on role, we would like you to take ownership of our beautiful restaurant. There is lots of opportunity to grow. Salary: £38,000 per annum + tronc (£1,000 to £4,000) + bonus + benefits Shifts: 5 days out of 7 including most Weekends and School Holidays Contract: Full Time, Permanent About the role: To ensure the customers experience is always maintained to the highest standard from front and back of house. To continuously work towards improving sales and customer service, through staff training, and implementing more efficient processes To lead marketing of our restaurant to generate new customers To support our 'farm to fork' plans and lead our Summer Festival of Food program To deal effectively with customer complaints To liaise with key people (kitchen, bar and floor) to ensure food and service is in line with the expected standards. To support and manage the performance of the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training, and mentoring. To deputise for the GM in their absence or when required. To ensure high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times Savill Garden Visitor Centre The award-winning Savill Building serves as a visitor centre for The Savill Garden, Adventure Play and the wider Great Park. It was opened in 2006 by H.R.H. the Duke of Edinburgh. The building measures an impressive 90 metres long and has won a number of architectural awards. The wooden grid shell architecture, was constructed from sustainable timber sources from within the Great Park. Other than Savill Kitchen, visitors will find a shop selling gifts supporting British manufacturers and a range of plants and garden accessories from the Royal Gardens. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: Experience at managing in a busy full table service restaurant Experience of implementing training with their team Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire Have astute financial and commercial awareness to ensure the continued success of the site A passion for GREAT customer service is a MUST!
