The Role: Operations Manager (OM)
The Operations Manager (OM) supports the Restaurant Leader in ensuring operational excellence, upholding Raising Cane’s standards, and culture across all Restaurant operations.

Impact & Responsibilities

Purpose of the position:
- Executes restaurant operational functions
- Acts as manager on duty for openings and closings
- Manages cash handling & accountably

General duties:
- Enforces Raising Cane’s policies & standards
- Conducts shift management meetings aligned with operations & safety standards
- Uses required tools, forms, and logs to document results and address corrective actions
- Deploys Crewmembers during shifts
- Ensures exemplary customer service and crewmember recognition
- Approves manager-level actions (e.g., discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides)
- Maintains cleanliness & facility upkeep
- Performs other duties as assigned
Essential Functions
To succeed, you must:
- Accurately take orders and process payments efficiently
- Work safely with hot cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, and common ingredients (e.g., oil, flour)
- Maintain a clean, safe Restaurant while following food safety & company procedures
- Lead by example and embody Raising Cane’s standards & culture
- Adopt a "can do" attitude and coach others to high performance

Qualifications
Required
✔ 18+ years old ✔ GCSEs or equivalent qualification ✔ 3+ years’ experience in restaurant or retail management ✔ Willingness to complete all Raising Cane’s mandatory training programs ✔ Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and attend job-related events/training if needed
Personal Attributes
✔ Detail-oriented, organised with ability to multitask ✔ Self-driven, flexible & energetic ✔ Strong analytical, written & verbal communication skills ✔ Ability to identify problems, set goals, and execute solutions ✔ Tech-savvy—proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and adaptable to new systems
