Key Responsibilities

Core Purpose:

  • Execute Restaurant operations functions
  • Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the Restaurant
  • Manage cash handling and ensure accountability

General Responsibilities:

  • Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards
  • Conduct shift management meetings to align with operations and safety standards
  • Utilise required tools, forms, and logs for shift execution and action planning
  • Deploy Crewmembers efficiently throughout shifts
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Operate the reward and recognition program for the Crew
  • Approve employee functions (e.g., discounts, promotions, time clock overrides)
  • Maintain cleanliness and facility standards
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned

Essential Functions:

  • Take and process orders with accuracy
  • Handle payments efficiently
  • Communicate clearly
  • Work with kitchen equipment, allergens, and cleaning supplies safely
  • Maintain a clean, safe Restaurant following food safety and company procedures
  • Lead by example, embodying and upholding Raising Cane’s standards at all times
  • Demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude, coaching others to excel

Required Qualifications

Must meet the following criteria:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have GCSEs (or equivalent) completed
  • possess 3+ years of Restaurant or retail management experience
  • Complete all required Raising Cane’s training programs
  • Available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and travel as needed for work and training
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing fluctuating priorities
  • Self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and quick to learn and adapt to new systems
