The Operations Manager (OM) supports the Restaurant Leader in ensuring operational excellence, upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture across all restaurant operations.

Core Responsibilities
- Executes restaurant operations functions
- Acts as manager on duty, opening/closing the restaurant
- Manages cash handling and ensures accountability
- Enforces Raising Cane’s policies and standards
- Ensures compliance at shift management meetings aligned with operations and safety standards
- Utilises required tools, forms and logs for:
- Shift execution
- Documenting results
- Taking corrective action when needed
- Deploys Crewmembers during shifts
- Provides exemplary customer service
- Runs reward and recognition programs for Crewmembers
- Approves employee functions requiring manager sign-off (e.g., discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides)
- Maintains restaurant cleanliness and ensures facilities operate effectively
- Completes any additional duties as assigned
Essential Functions
To excel in this role, you must consistently demonstrate:
- Accurate order-taking, efficient payment processing, and clear communication
- Ability to work safely around hot cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, and common ingredients like oil/flour
- Strict adherence to food safety and company procedures while maintaining a clean, safe restaurant
- A commitment to leading by example—upholding Raising Cane’s standards at all times
- A "can do" mindset, coaching others to reach their potential
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Hold GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant management or retail leadership experience
- Willingness to complete all Raising Cane’s required training programs
- Flexibility to work:
- A variety of shifts (days, evenings, weekends)
- Travel for work-related functions/training
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple, shifting priorities
- Self-driven, adaptable and energetic with:
- Strong verbal/written communication
- Clear thinking under pressure
- Ability to analyse problems, set goals, and execute solutions
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Quick adaptation to new systems
