Restaurant Team Leader (Seasonal – Full-Time) – Chessington World of Adventures
About the Role Aramark UK are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Restaurant Team Leader to join our Hotels team at Chessington World of Adventures. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone aiming to advance their hospitality career and gain valued leadership experience.
The role is full-time and seasonal, running until November 2026, with an opportunity to transition to a permanent position following a successful season.
Our hotel operation spans:
- A vibrant, casual dining restaurant
- A world buffet concept
- A busy banqueting and conference department
Key Responsibilities
As the Team Leader, you’ll serve as the bridge between front-of-house teams and management, setting the standard for outstanding guest experiences. Core duties include:
- Leading by example to deliver exceptional restaurant service and maintain high cleanliness standards
- Coaching, training, and motivating a large front-of-house team
- Assisting managers with shift planning and daily restaurant operations
- Acting as the primary point of contact for staff during service
- Resolving guest queries, complaints, and service issues with professionalism
- Championing health & safety, as well as food safety standards
- Ensuring smooth section operations and service flow in your designated area
- Fulfilling duty-manager shifts when required in the absence of management

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment
- A basic understanding of food safety and health & safety protocols
- Confidence and strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Eligibility to work in the UK (must be aged 18+)
