Job Title: Loss Prevention Technician (or similar operational role)

About the Role

This role involves attending incidents, inspecting damage, reporting findings, and delivering contracted emergency services—including participation in an emergency call-out rota. Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • On-site action and response
    • Attend, inspect, report, and complete contracted operational work or emergency call-outs as required
    • Ensure resources are managed efficiently to meet profit and productivity targets
    • Provide transparent reporting of equipment utilisation to the hire desk

  • Compliance and paperwork

    • Prepare all necessary documentation (e.g., site reports) to company standards
    • Liaise with the Service Centre for status updates on all live projects
  • Team and policy coordination

    • Maintain close communication with supervisors, technicians, and management
    • Assist with training operational personnel under supervision
    • Uphold company health & safety, quality, and management protocols—digesting and implementing changes
    • Offer items such as safety data sheets to insured parties where needed
  • Flexible deployment

    • Provide support to other technicians or act as site-based specialist (residential/commercial claims)
    • Embrace new procedures and equipment as required

Requirements for the Role

  • Full, valid UK driving licence (essential for emergency deployment)
  • Some industry experience (beneficial but not mandatory)
