Overview
At FutureCare, the Restorative Aide works under the supervision of a licensed nurse, implementing treatment plans recommended by a licensed physical therapist. The Restorative Aide is responsible for implementing basic restorative care programs and rehabilitative programs.

Competitive pay ranges from $17.54 - $25.00/hr, with bonuses, incentives, and flexible payment options available.

Responsibilities
- Provides safe restorative care for residents
- Completes documentation on flow sheets and care records for all restorative activities
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly resident environment, including proper waste disposal
- Reports malfunctioning, broken, or hazardous equipment/conditions to a supervisor or safety officer
- Adheres to policies and procedures in all assigned tasks
Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, the Restorative Aide delivers the following specialized programs:

Splint Program

Dining Program

High Steppers (ambulation) Program

LYFE Today (Living Your Life to its Fullest Everyday) Program

Reach (range of motion) Program
-
Monitors resident conditions and notifies the supervisor of any changes

Provides one-on-one assistance and training as needed

Qualifications
- Graduate of a state-approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) Program and certified through the Maryland Nursing Assistant Registry (NMC)
- Must meet ongoing certification requirements as per state regulations
