About the Role

Are you an experienced Restructuring & Insolvency solicitor looking to advance your career with a highly regarded City practice?

A close-knit and collegiate Litigation department with a growing Restructuring & Insolvency team seeks an ambitious Associate / Senior Associate to provide comprehensive support, build client relationships, and contribute to a dynamic and expanding practice.

Key Responsibilities

A forward-thinking opportunity for a Restructuring & Insolvency Associate / Senior Associate (4–6 PQE) to:

  • Provide technical, high-level legal advice on corporate/impetrable insolvency proceedings, restructures, and contests.
  • Draft technical documentation (court filings, correspondence, settlement agreements).
  • Develop client relationships, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in disputes where necessary.
  • Instruct leading counsel and collaborate with wider Litigation/Dispute Resolution cross-team expertise.
  • Take increasing responsibility for strategic case management while supporting senior practitioners.
  • Develop business through proactive engagement with clients and market growth initiatives.
  • Supervise junior/part-time lawyers, mentoring their development.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 4–6 years’ PQE, specialising in Restructuring & Insolvency.
  • Proven technical ability, paired with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in managing varied caseloads, with the ability to supervise and delegate effectively.
  • Commercially astute, with strong resilience, sound judgement, and a pragmatic, solution-focused approach.
  • Genuine interest in business development and long-term client relationship cultivation.
  • Team player with adaptability in a collaborative hybrid environment.
