Senior Restructuring & Insolvency Associate / Counsel – Short-Term Interim Assignment (6+ PQE)
Role Overview
We have been instructed on an urgent interim requirement with a leading global law firm, seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Counsel, or ex-Partner to provide immediate support to its highly regarded Restructuring & Insolvency team on a short-term basis (weeks), starting ASAP.
The role is remote-only, based within the UK.

The team regularly handles high-value, time-critical matters, acting for:
- Insolvency practitioners
- Lenders & financial institutions
- Corporates & boards of directors
- Investors and other stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate, expert support to the team’s high-stakes restructurings and insolvencies.
- Work autonomously on complex files with minimal supervision.
- Assist with cross-border and domestic matters.
- Deliver strategic advice under tight deadlines (time-critical).
Essential Requirements
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales (or an equivalent commonwealth jurisdiction, e.g., Australia or New Zealand).
- 6+ years’ post-qualification experience in Restructuring & Insolvency, preferably within a City, international, or leading national firm.
- Strong technical expertise: depth of knowledge in all facets of restructuring and insolvency law..
- Experience advising on domestic and cross-border matters (highly beneficial).
- Availability to commence immediately or within very short notice.
