About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and clinically focused individual to join the busy and highly respected Resuscitation Service at Whittington Health, working across both acute and community settings.

We provide a comprehensive resuscitation service, offering expert support and leadership during emergency calls across all specialties. As part of the deteriorating patient pathway programme, we are committed to delivering high-quality training and patient care to help reduce in-hospital mortality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery and coordination of a wide range of resuscitation training programmes, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Immediate Life Support (ILS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Newborn Life Support (NLS), Paediatric Basic Life Support (PBLS), Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
  • Coordinate ATLS courses and support multidisciplinary simulation training for nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals.
  • Attend the Trust Resuscitation Committee, providing professional advice on resuscitation practice, policy development, training, clinical governance, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain professional links within the Trust, across clinical networks, and nationally to support continuous improvement in resuscitation practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Diversity and Inclusion

Whittington Health serves a richly diverse population and works hard to ensure that all our services are fair and equally accessible to everyone. We aim to employ a workforce which is as representative as possible of this population, so we are open to the value of differences in age, disability, gender, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, race, sexual orientation, and religion or belief. The Trust believes that as a public sector organisation we have an obligation to have recruitment, training, promotion, and other formal employment policies and procedures that are sensitive to these differences. We think that by doing so, we are better able to treat our patients as well as being a better place to work.
