Senior Account Manager – Retail (Projects)

About the Role

As a Senior Account Manager in OLIVER’s Projects Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring store opening projects and retail marketing activations run smoothly across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Coordination

  • Track store project timelines across the EU portfolio using updates like I channels loop review links (access: xxx) under department separate folders.
  • Follow store opening process guidelines and ensure alignment across merchandising, visual merchandising, store development, and market teams.

Regional Execution & Activation

  • Brief retail marketing functions in markets on role, responsibilities, and project processes (in line with RACI Model).
  • Coordinate opening product allocation and visual merchandising microplanning to ensure stores receive correct marketing tools.

Order & Stakeholder Management

  • Review floor plans, furniture, and VM orders to validate executable concepts for windows, launch zones, and categories.
  • Manage creation, production, and delivery of ISC and window orders with precision.

Preparation & Training

  • Collect activation info from local teams 3 weeks prior to store openings.
  • Train local teams on new store concepts and ensure readiness for campaigns, issue follow-ups.

System & Onboarding

  • Onboard new store details into European systems/processes to facilitate future campaign execution.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with:

  • Cluster Retail Marketing
  • Europe Omni-channel Visual Merchandising (VM)
  • Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) Merchandising
  • Field Teams & Business Unit Communications
  • Global VM & ISC, Agencies
  • Vendors

Requirements

Essential Experience & Skills

✓ Retail or marketing background with hands-on experience in store operations or visual merchandising (highly advantageous). ✓ Project coordination expertise—ability to manage multitask in fast-paced environments. ✓ Attention to detail across project tracking, documentation, and stakeholder communication. ✓ Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook (power users required). ✓ Strong communication skills; fluency in English mandatory. Bonus for proficiency in German, Spanish, French, or other European languages.
