Camden Art Centre is recruiting for a Retail and Buying Manager, an exciting opportunity to lead our Gallery shop, online shop and retail offer within an internationally recognised contemporary arts organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the role is responsible for developing and delivering the Centre’s retail strategy, overseeing buying, merchandising, stock management and e-commerce operations, while driving commercial income to support Camden Art Centre’s charitable mission.
Working closely with colleagues across Commercial, Front of House, Curatorial, Communications and Finance, the successful candidate will manage the retail operation from end to end, sourcing unique products, artist editions and publications, leading visual merchandising and supporting the continued growth of both in-person and online sales.

The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in retail buying and management
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent organisational skills
- A creative eye for product development and visual merchandising
- Experience of stock and budget management
- A passion for contemporary art, books and design
- Enjoy working collaboratively in a busy environment
- Motivated by delivering an outstanding visitor and retail experience
