Retail Assistant
Retail Assistant – GSF Car Parts
About the Role
At GSF Car Parts, the Retail Assistant plays a vital role in delivering excellence in Customer Service. This position requires a customer-focused individual who will drive face-to-face sales, manage click-and-collect orders, and foster strong customer relationships to meet branch and individual targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve trade and retail customers for click-and-collect and general orders, while maximising sales opportunities
- Pick and assemble relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders
- Support the sales team in handling product promotions, including processing telephone and electronic queries
- Fully resolve customer orders, returns, and queries in line with company standards
- Assess customer returns for resale, warranty eligibility, or applicable surcharges
- Contribute to team targets while working towards personal performance benchmarks and sales goals
- Develop product knowledge via the e-learning portal to enhance performance
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of customer-facing areas
- Build strong working relationships with customers and understand their garage needs
- Represent GSF Car Parts professionally, upholding company values at all times
- Strive for achievement of relevant KPIs

Working Hours: Average 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday), including alternate Saturday shifts
About You
To thrive in this role, we’re looking for:
- Proven customer service, sales, or retail experience in a customer-facing environment
- Motivation-driven and results-focused attitude
- Excellent customer service skills, with a proactive approach to resolving queries
- Confident user of IT and computer systems (preferably with knowledge of MAM, Allicat, or MS Office)
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
- High attention to detail
- Bonus: Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry would be beneficial (not essential)
