You’ll be at the core of Screwfix, ensuring our customers remain the heart of everything we do. You’ll take the time to understand their needs while delivering genuinely great service. Our Retail Assistants are vital to store operations—your days will be busy, engaging, and rewarding.
Our training programmes and flexible shift patterns support a healthy work-life balance, setting you up for a promising career with Screwfix.
Opening Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 7am to 8pm
- Saturday: 7am to 6pm
- Sunday: 9am to 4pm

Responsibilities
What’s It Like to Be a Retail Assistant?
- Host: Welcome customers, understand their needs, guide them to the right products, and make their shopping experience seamless.
- Warehouse Standards: Assist with deliveries, maintaining stock, collecting customer orders, and upholding high operational standards.

Requirements
You Are…
- A great service provider with a positive, no-nonsense, can-do attitude.
- Willing to work hard and make the most of our training—retail experience is not required.
- A natural communicator who loves helping people.
- Friendly, flexible, reliable, honest, and enthusiastic!
