Be part of the team delivering exceptional fan and visitor experiences at one of the Midlands' leading destination venues.
Legends Global is looking for Retail Assistants to work across the Coventry Building Society Arena, supporting a diverse programme of live events, conferences, exhibitions, hospitality experiences, and matchdays throughout the year.
Supporting an exciting programme of football fixtures, concerts, exhibitions, conferences, and major live events, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent customer experiences across our food and beverage retail outlets.
This is a great opportunity to work on a flexible, casual basis, serving thousands of guests and visitors in a fast-paced retail environment at one of the Midlands’ premier event destinations.
The Role
We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and take pride in delivering great service. As a Retail Assistant, you'll help create a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests by providing efficient service, maintaining high standards, and contributing to the success of matchdays and events.
This role is ideal for those seeking flexible work that fits around other commitments.
The Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, efficient service across retail kiosks and food and beverage outlets.
- Prepare, present, and serve food and beverages in line with operational standards.
- Operate cashless EPOS systems accurately and confidently.
- Maintain clean, organised, and well-stocked retail areas throughout service.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a seamless customer experience while adhering to all food safety, hygiene, licensing, and health & safety requirements.
Please note: this position may require the preparation and handling of pork products.
What we're looking for
- A passion for customer service and creating positive guest experiences.
- Previous retail, food service, or customer-facing experience is desirable but not essential.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-energy event environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Reliable, flexible, and available to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and major event days.
- Able to commute to Coventry Building Society Arena

Next Steps

This role is offered on a casual, event-based basis, with evening and weekend work aligned to matchdays and arena events.
Any work offered will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks. These may include verification of identity, proof of address, right to work, employment history, qualifications, and—where relevant to the role—a basic or enhanced DBS check. All checks will be carried out in line with data protection law and we will only request information that is necessary for the role.
