You’ll be at the core of Screwfix, making sure our customers are the heart of everything we do. You’ll take time to really get to know them whilst delivering genuinely great service. Our Retail Assistants are vital to the running of a store, so you’ll always be kept busy. With excellent training programmes, varied shifts, and support for a healthy work-life balance, you’ll be on the right track for a promising career with us!
Opening Hours
- Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities
WHAT’S IT LIKE TO BE A RETAIL ASSISTANT?
- Host – Welcome customers, understand their needs, guide them to the right products, and ensure their experience is seamless
- Warehouse standards – Assist with deliveries, maintain product stock, collect customer orders, and uphold high standards
- Part of the team – Join a passionate team that prides itself on excellent customer care, collaboration, and fun work environments

- Amazing at delivering great service, with a positive, can-do, no-nonsense attitude
- Committed to hard work and prepared to benefit from our training programmes
- A strong communicator who loves helping people (no retail experience needed!)
- Friendly, flexible, reliable, honest, and enthusiastic
