Retail Assistant (Athlete) - PT 8H - Castleford

At NIKE retail stores, roles have special names—Retail Assistants are called "Athletes"—and NIKE is looking for the next full-time teammate to join Nike Castleford.

What You Bring: Responsibilities

  • Deliver a world-class service experience to consumers using exceptional consumer service skills and deep product knowledge
  • Assisting retail leads and floor managers (Coaches) in training new employees
  • Supporting various store departments by:
    • Operating the cash register
    • Managing incoming and outgoing goods
    • Refilling products on the shop floor
    • Building visual displays
    • Recommending appropriate products to meet sales targets
  • Bridging online and offline sales using digital device expertise
  • Educating consumers and new teammates about NIKE products and services
  • Continuously improving through training courses and exploring sales trends, NIKE products, services, and company culture

  • Customer service and/or retail experience preferred
  • Strong communicator, brand ambassador, and collaborative teammate
  • Ability to apply product sales techniques
  • Flexibility in scheduling:
    • Available to work retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and holidays
    • 8+ hours per week (must include Saturday & Sunday)
    • Some weekday availability
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
