Join Our Team

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our Spa & Retail team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for retail, beauty, wellness, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As our Retail Assistant, you will play a key role in driving retail sales, creating engaging customer experiences, maintaining high visual merchandising standards, and supporting our therapy team in achieving retail success. If you are proactive, sales-driven, and enjoy building relationships with customers, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
  • Supporting guests throughout their shopping experience, offering expert product advice and recommendations
  • Achieving daily, weekly, and monthly retail sales targets and KPIs
  • Maximising retail opportunities through product recommendations, promotions, and customer engagement activities
  • Handling customer enquiries professionally and assist with resolving complaints alongside the Retail & Parlour Manager

Retail Activities & Promotions

  • Organising and delivering retail-focused activities including workshops, skin consultations, mini treatments, and product demonstrations
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of promotional events and seasonal campaigns
  • Working closely with product brands and suppliers to maintain product knowledge and promote new launches

Retail Operations

  • Maintaining attractive, fully stocked, and well-merchandised retail displays
  • Carrying out opening and closing procedures and daily retail area checks
  • Completing daily operational checklists and administrative tasks, including emails and guest enquiries
  • Ensuring retail spaces remain clean, tidy, welcoming, and aligned with company standards

Stock Management

  • Monitoring stock levels and place orders to maintain availability
  • Conducting monthly stock takes and manage stock rotation
  • Ensuring accurate stock control records using Procure Wizard and Resort Suite
  • Maintaining strict controls to minimise stock loss, damage, or theft

Team Support

  • Encouraging and motivating therapists to incorporate retail recommendations into treatments
  • Providing retail support and guidance to the therapy team
  • Attending product training sessions and continually develop your product and industry knowledge

Essential

What We're Looking For

  • Have previous experience in a retail, beauty, spa, hospitality, or customer service environment
  • Have excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Be confident using computer systems and stock management software
  • Have a flexible approach to working hours and shifts

Desirable

  • Have experience within a spa, beauty, wellness, or luxury hospitality environment
  • Have knowledge of skincare, beauty, or wellness products
  • Have experience delivering workshops, demonstrations, or customer events

Additional Information

  • Working 4-5 days per week
  • 38 hours per week - Monday - Sunday - evenings & weekends
  • £13.75 per hour
