About the Role
We are recruiting part-time Retail Assistants for our shop in Fort William/An Gearasdan, Highland. We offer a variety of part-time contracts with flexible shift patterns.

All positions involve weekend work.
Pay & Benefits
Earnings vary by age:
- Ages 16–20: £10.95 per hour
- Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities
As a Retail Assistant, you’ll ensure:
- Customers feel welcomed with a friendly demeanour.
- Assistance finding products and checkout service.
- Efficient product handling (deliveries, stocking shelves/freezers).
- Participation in daily/weekly routines (cleaning, maintenance).
Requirements
Ideal candidates possess:
- A friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude.
- Thrives in busy environments with diverse tasks.
- Reliability & teamwork—small team depends on your contribution.
- Shift flexibility—you’ll cover gaps when colleagues are unavailable.
- Rotas planned 3 weeks in advance, accounting for personal commitments.
- Verification requirement—If hired, you’ll complete an Employment Verification check (via email) to confirm past employment with HMRC.
