Retail Assistant - Part Time
Retail Assistant (Permanent Part-Time) – Dewsbury, West Yorkshire
Hours & Pay
- 16 hours per week over 3 days, including weekends (minimum commitment)
- £10.95 per hour (Ages 16–20)
- £12.81 per hour (Ages 21+)

About the Role
As a Retail Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive excellent service while helping to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with friendliness and efficiency, providing a warm "Hello" and "Thank you" to every visitor.
- Assist customers in locating products and offering support at the till—packing orders carefully and professionally.
- Handle stock & deliveries with care:
- Quickly restock freezers and shelves.
- Uphold daily/weekly routines to keep the shop tidy, safe, and customer-ready.
- Collaborate with your team to maintain a ** united and productive workspace**.

Requirements
- A friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude—energy to thrive in a busy retail environment.
- Reliability is key: You’ll be part of a small team, and customers will depend on your consistent effort.
- Flexibility to adapt to shift rosters (planned 3 weeks in advance, balancing commitments alongside work).
- Ready for variety—juggling tills, stock management, customer service, and cleaning duties each shift.
