Retail Assistant
Reach for Remarkable
Location: Brookwood Family Shop, ATC Pirbright, GU24 0DT (outside the wire) Pay rate: £12.71 per hour Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 25 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (includes some weekends) Shifts: Various shifts with Earlies starting at 0700 or Lates starting at 1300

We’re looking for a Retail Assistant to work at Brookwood Family Shop, Pirbright. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of our retail unit, ensuring customers have a great experience every visit.

Responsibilities
- Barista duties
- Serve customers and process payments accurately
- Keep shelves stocked and displays looking great
- Receive deliveries and manage stock levels
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy workspace
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Support with opening and closing the retail unit
- Work as part of a team
Requirements
You must:
- Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work here
- Be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
- Previously hold retail or customer service experience (helpful, but not essential – full training provided)
- Be comfortable working in a team and occasionally independently
