Head of UK Retail Channel & Distributor Management
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Channel Leadership: Fully understand brand channel strategies and local retail policies. Oversee regional sales and channel execution across UK retail markets, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of channel standards.
- Distributor & Field Team Management: Manage the full lifecycle of UK distributors, agents, and in-store field teams, including recruitment, training, performance management, and attrition planning. Lead supermarket listing, shelf merchandising, in-store display, and retail promotion strategies to maximize brand visibility and improve on-site conversion.
- Data-Driven Market Insights: Conduct in-depth market, industry, and customer analysis for the UK FMCG retail channel. Identify growth opportunities, assess potential risks, deliver data-driven strategic recommendations, and develop actionable plans for regional market expansion and channel management.

Job Requirements
- 5+ Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years in UK distributor management, retail channel operations, or regional sales management, with deep knowledge of FMCG retail mechanics, supermarket operations, and channel business logic.
- Channel Standardisation: Experience in building standardized agent and channel management systems, along with professional product training and ongoing operational support for retail partners to ensure high-quality brand execution while protecting brand interests and channel legitimacy.
- Scalable Model Development: Capable of designing and iterating scalable channel management models tailored to brand development and UK market characteristics.
- Strategic Insights: Strong channel analysis and business diagnosis skills to identify operational pain points and deliver effective strategic optimizations.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Outstanding problem-solving ability, strong resilience under pressure, a high sense of responsibility, and the capacity to adapt to fast-paced retail channel management demands.
