Retail Customer Service Manager – Ladbrokes & Coral Betting Shops

Job Description
As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the Entain family, providing outstanding customer service while raising our standards daily. In our fast-paced Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops, no two days are alike, and you’ll be part of a team that collaborates, thrives together, and prioritises our customers.
Reporting to the Shop Manager, your focus will be on serving customers, building relationships, and fostering repeat custom.
Salary: £13.00 per hour (subject to local market adjustments).

What You Will Do
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Always promote safer gambling practices with empathy.
- Take bets on an array of sports and events.
- Process customer transactions, including cash handling and payments.
- Demonstrate products and betting terminals to customers.
- Address customer complaints or concerns with problem-solving and empathy.
- Meet and exceed defined sales and service targets.
- Maintain high-shop standards (cleanliness, presentation, appearance).
- Open and close the shop, ensuring smooth transitions.
Work Patterns
- Our betting shops operate on Monday to Sunday, 8:00am–10:00pm, depending on location (including weekends and bank holidays).
- Your typical weekly rota will be 15 hours, combining:
- Long opening/closing shifts
- Shorter evening shifts
- Rota will vary weekly, but we’ll provide it at least four weeks in advance to support work-life balance.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have previous customer-facing experience.
- Show confidence when engaging with customers in person.
- Be familiar with cash handling and transaction processing.
