Retail Assistant Sales Manager – Retail Team (Betfred)

About the Role
Working in our retail teams, you’ll play a vital role in shaping Betfred customers’ experiences every day. Whether it’s mastering our gaming machines, sports betting, or promotions, you’ll create a welcoming environment where responsible gambling thrives.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing customer bets quickly, accurately, and attentively
- Resolving queries with expert knowledge of products, promotions, and terms
- Supporting seasonal and key promotional events (e.g., major sporting fixtures)
- Ensuring the shopmaintains a welcoming, well-presented, and compliant environment
- Managing cash transactions with 100% accuracy while adhering to security protocols
- Upholding our Think 25 (25+ restrictive age policy) and responsible gambling guidelines
- Collaborating as a team player to continuously improve customer experiences
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Be 18+ with the right to work in the UK
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to engage all customers
- Show enthusiasm for sports, gaming, or betting (though experience is not essential)
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn, grow, and thrive at Betfred
