Retail Customer Service Manager
About the Role
As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Entain family. In our dynamic Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops, no two days are the same, and you’ll work in a team where collaboration and customer-centric values drive success.
Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will serve customers, foster relationships to encourage repeat business, and maintain the highest standards in customer service.
Salary: £13.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
- Promote safer gambling at every opportunity.
- Take bets on various sports and events.
- Process customer transactions, including cash handling.
- Demonstrate our products and betting terminals to customers.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns with patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- Support the team to meet defined sales and service targets.
- Maintain high shop standards, from cleanliness to product presentation.
- Cover shop openings and closings as required.

Working Patterns
- Shifts: Monday to Sunday (8:00 AM – 10:00 PM), depending on location.
- Includes weekends and bank holidays.
- Weekly hours: typically 17 hours, combining long opening/closing shifts with evening shifts.
- Rotas will vary week-to-week.
- Rota planning: Provided at least four weeks in advance to respect work-life balance.
Requirements
To excel in this role: ✔ Must be 18 years or older. ✔ Previous experience in customer-facing roles is essential. ✔ Confident in handling face-to-face interactions with diverse customers. ✔ Familiarity with cash handling and payment processing. ✔ Commitment to striving for excellence in service and teamwork.
