The Role
Do you love sports? Adore customer service? Thrive on building positive relationships? As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you’ll be the face of Entain’s Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops, driving excellence in service with a team that’s all about winning together.
Reporting to the Shop Manager, you’ll cultivate loyal customers while ensuring high standards, safety awareness, and productive transactions. No two days are alike—whether processing bets, resolving concerns, or enriching the shopping experience.

Salary
Base pay: £13.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service—exceeding customer expectations every time.
- Promote safer gambling through responsible practices and awareness.
- Take bets across sports, events, and promotions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle cash transactions securely, including float management.
- Demonstrate betting products and terminals to customers effectively.
- Resolve complaints/concerns with empathy, problem-solving, and professionalism.
- Exceed targets while maintaining the highest standards in the shop.
- Manage opening/closing duties (as a keyholder), including on weekends and bank holidays.

Working Patterns
- Shifts: Mon–Sun, 8:00am–10:00pm (varies by location).
- Typical week: 30 hours of shifts—mix of long opens (post-training), long closes, and shorter evenings.
- Rota: Allocated 4+ weeks in advance to support work-life balance.
Requirements
- Age: 18+ (UK legal working age).
- Passion for customer service—building relationships and communicating clearly.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Team conducive—comfortable working independently or collaboratively.
- Calm under pressure—handling challenging situations with professionalism.
