Retail Customer Service Manager – Job Description
As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the Entain family, ensuring exceptional service and elevating standards every day. In our dynamic Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops, no two days are alike. You’ll join a team focused on winning together and putting customers first.
Reporting to: [Shop Manager] Salary: £13.00 per hour (Standard rate, including location allowance as noted below: £13.74/hour)

Your Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Promote safer gambling practices
- Take bets across various sports and events
- Process customer transactions, including cash handling
- Demonstrate our products and betting terminals
- Address customer complaints or concerns with empathy and problem-solving
- Target identified customer service and sales goals
- Maintain high standards of shop cleanliness and presentation
- Open or close the store
Hours & Work Patterns
- Stores typically operate:
- Monday to Sunday (8am – 10pm, depending on location)
- Includes weekends and bank holidays
- Typical weekly hours: 20 hours
- Mix of long shifts and evening shifts balanced weekly
- Rotas provided at least four weeks in advance (balance supported)
Key Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria: ✔ Be 18+ years old ✔ Have experience in customer-facing roles ✔ Feel confident interacting with customers in person ✔ Be comfortable with cash handling and transactions
