Your Role: Retail Customer Service Manager

As a Retail Customer Service Manager at Ladbrokes & Coral, you’ll be an essential part of the Entain family, delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving consistent standards daily. Our dynamic betting shops thrive on diversity, and no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a winning team that prioritises customers and ensures they come back for more.
You’ll report to the Shop Manager and play a key role in a fast-paced environment where customer engagement and rapport are vital for repeat business.
Salary: £13.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver outstanding customer service in a dynamic retail environment.
- Promote safer gambling at every opportunity.
- Take bets across sports, events and promotions.
- Process transactions including cash handling (guaranteed accuracy & security).
- Demonstrate betting terminals/products to customers to encourage engagement.
- Resolve complaints, concerns, or issues** with empathy and problem-solving skills.
- Drive performance against defined targets and shop goals.
- Maintain high store standards—cleanliness, organisation, and presentation.
- Open/close the shop as required (as a key holder).

Working Patterns
Our retail locations operate Monday to Sunday (8:00AM – 10:00PM), including weekends and bank holidays.
- Your weekly workload is 10 hours, consisting of:
- Long opening/closing shifts (post-training).
- Evening shifts of varying lengths.
- Flexibility is key. Rotas are set at least 4 weeks in advance to support a balanced work-life life.
As a key holder, you’ll often handle opening and closing duties.
Note: Shift patterns vary by location and can change weekly.
Requirements
- Legal eligibility: Must be 18+ to work in one of our betting shops.
- Passion for customer service—think relationship-building, communication, and engagement.
- Proactive attitude: Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
- Team collaboration skills: Comfortable working alone and as part of a dynamic team.
- Dealing with challenges professionally: Handling complaints, adversity, and high-pressure situations with composure.
