Job Description

Do you love sports or have a passion for great customer service? Do you enjoy forming positive relationships? As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you will be an integral part of the Entain family, delivering top customer service and driving standards on a daily basis.

In our exciting, dynamic Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops, no two days are the same, and you'll have the chance to contribute to a team that wins together and does what's right by our customers.

Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will be part of the Shop team, tasked with serving customers and building rapport to encourage repeat custom.

💰 Salary: £13.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Always urge safer gambling
  • Take bets on a wide range of sports and events
  • Process customer transactions (including cash handling)
  • Help demonstrate our products & betting terminals to customers
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and problem-solving skills
  • Work towards defined targets and goals
  • Maintain high shop standards
  • Open or close the shop as required

Working Patterns

Our shops operate Monday to Sunday, typically between 8am – 10pm, depending on the location. This includes weekends and bank holidays.

Your typical weekly rota would be 10 hours, combining:

  • Long opening shifts (post-training)
  • Long closing shifts
  • Shorter evening shifts

Rotations will vary each week, and as a key holder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the shop.

At Entain, we prioritise healthy work-life balance and will provide your rota at least four weeks in advance.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or over to work in one of our betting shops
  • Passionate about delivering great customer service!
  • Enjoy building strong relationships and communicating effectively
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Capable of working alone or as part of a team
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
