Job Description
As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you’ll thrive in the heart of Entain’s dynamic betting shops, championing world-class customer service and setting daily standards.
You’ll report to the Shop Manager, leading a retail team focused on serving customers, fostering loyalty, and delivering an unmatched experience where everyone has fun—and comes back again.
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional day-to-day performance:
- Provide outstanding customer service with genuine enthusiasm.
- Promote safer gambling at every opportunity.
- Take bets across a range of sports and events.
- Manage cash handling and payment transactions smoothly.
- Demonstrate products and betting terminals to customers.
- Address customer complaints and concerns with empathy and problem-solving.
- Achieve weekly sales targets.
- Maintain and elevate store standards to reflect brand excellence.
- Open and close the shop.

Working Patterns
We’re Monday-to-Sunday operations, typically 8am–10pm, with weekends and bank holidays included.
Your weekly rota will be 10 hours, balancing:
- Longer opening/closing shifts
- Briefer evening shifts
Rotas will vary weekly, but you’ll always receive at least four weeks’ notice, ensuring a sustainable work–life balance.
Requirements
Applicants must meet all following criteria:
- Be 18 years or over (eligible to work in UK betting shops).
- Have experience in a customer-facing role.
- Be confident and articulate when interacting with customers in person.
- Have cash-handling and transaction experience.
