Job Description
As a Retail Customer Service Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the Entain family, delivering exceptional customer service while upholding high operational standards. Our dynamic Ladbrokes & Coral betting shops thrive on variety—no two days are ever the same. You’ll contribute to a collaborative team that prioritises player satisfaction and slice-by-slice success.
Reporting to the Shop Manager, your key responsibility is to support the team in serving customers and fostering loyalty through memorable interactions. Salary: £13.00 per hour.
What You Will Do
- Deliver outstanding customer service and elevate the shopping experience.
- Promote safer gambling awareness and practices at all times.
- Process bets across various sports and events.
- Handle all customer transactions, including cash, card, and terminals.
- Demonstrate products and betting terminals to customers, ensuring they feel supported.
- Address customer complaints or concerns with empathy and professional problem-solving.
- Work towards obliterating business targets and operational KPIs.
- Maintain spotless shop standards, inside and out—from clean retail spaces to functional equipment.
- Manage shop openings and closings.

Work Patterns
Our retail locations typically operate:
- Monday to Sunday (8am – 10pm), depending on location. (This includes weekends and bank holidays.)
- Your weekly rota averages 17 hours.
- Shifts blend longer opening/closing commitments with shorter evening slots.
- Weekly rotations alternate and are finalised at least four weeks in advance to support work-life balance.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, you must:
- Be 18 years or over.
- Have prior customer-facing experience (essential).
- Demonstrate natural confidence in engaging with in-person customers.
- Be control-ready with cash handling and transaction processes.
